[22a-P04-12] A Large Number of Cells Processing by Surface Discharge Gene Transfection Method

The authors are studying the surface discharge method (SD method), which can introduce genes into a large number of cells by plasma processing, for use in advanced applications such as gene therapy. We have already established a technology to introduce genes into 600,000 cells at a time in a 3.5 cm dish with high transfection efficiency by the SD method.
In this study, we report on our attempt to expand the introduction area of the SD method by optimizing the electrode arrangement in order to further increase the number of cells that can be processed at one time.
