[22p-A205-6] A phenomenological approach on self-induced spin-orbit torque in a ferromagnet with composition gradient
Keywords:spintronics
Generating spin current from spin-orbit interaction in ferromagnets becomes of great interest recently. In particular, self-induced spin-orbit torque, which arises from the spin current generated in a ferromagnet and acts on the magnetization in the ferromagnet itself, has reported recently, although its mechanism is still unclear. Our group very recently found a self-induced spin-orbit torque due to a composition gradient in a ferromagnet. In this talk, we propose a phenomenological theory of spin transport in such a ferromagnet.
