△ [22p-A306-7] Theoretical study of analogue Hawking radiation using SNAILs
Keywords:superconducting quantum circuits, analogue black holes, solitons
We propose an analogue black hole where Hawking radiation is amplified by the three-wave mixing processes using a transmission line with superconducting nonlinear asymmetric inductive elements (SNAILs). In the transmission line, the Josephson phase difference obeys a nonlinear evolution equation with a soliton solution. We revealed that the soliton modulates the velocity of electromagnetic waves propagating in the transmission line, resulting in generating an analogue black hole. This allows for a larger difference between the pump and signal frequencies, making observation easier than the previously proposed amplification of Hawking radiation by four-wave mixing.
