[22p-A401-7] Swarm Intelligence as Key Stone of Next Generation Social Systems

Satoshi Kurihara1 (1.Keio Univ.)

Keywords:swarm intelligence, emergent computing

Swarm intelligence is a mechanism in which the total order emerges as the sum of local interactions of a large number of such simple agents. With its high real-time performance and adaptability, swarm intelligence is expected to be a crucial technology for solving various real-world problems changing dynamically. An autonomous decentralized traffic signal control and COVID-19 infectious diseases simulation will be presented as the use case of this technology.
