Recently, all-optical optical signal processing technology has been attracting attention due to the increase in communication network capacity resulting from the spread of IoT and other technologies. In this study, we investigated an all-optical switch with spatial optical incidence that is expected to have low optical insertion loss and low power consumption by utilizing the saturable absorption property of high-quality graphene grown on SiC. In addition, the transient response optical signal waveforms obtained from the experiments were discussed and analyzed.
