粒子画像流速測定法を用いてAr雰囲気下の水上パルス放電照射に伴う水中の流動を可視化した。極性によらず，針電極直下において上向きの流れが生じ，気液界面側では容器側面方向に流れが生じる。また，負極性パルス放電照射時の方が正極性パルス放電照射時よりも流速が大きくなる。これは，放電照射に伴うOHの生成による表面張力の差がマランゴニ対流を誘起しており，極性の違いによるOH生成量の差に起因していると考えられる。
