[22p-B101-4] Developments of oxide antiferromagnetic thin film materials by utilizing synchrotron radiation sources

Keywords:antiferromagnet, tihn film, spintronics

Antiferromagnets show excellent characteristics for spintronics applications, such as high density applicability and high-speed spin dynamics. However, the manipulation and detection of the magnetic moment of antiferromagnets are difficult, and thus the reports of antiferromagnetic properties are limited. Here we introduce the example of material developments of two antiferromagnetic oxide thin films (Cr2O3, Fe2O3), where we successfully established evaluation methods of a magnetic anisotropy by utilizing synchrotron radiation sources.
