[22p-B203-3] Preparation and Properties of Composite Nanocarbon Composite-supported Metal Catalyst
Keywords:Direct methanol fuel cell, Electrode catalyst, Graphitic carbon nitride
In the direct methanol fuel cells, there is a problem that the catalyst durability is lowered due to CO poisoning of the noble metal catalyst particles during the oxidation of methanol. In recent years, it has been reported that a composite electrode of carbon nanotubes and graphite-like carbon nitride (g-C3N4) is effective in preventing catalytic poisoning by CO. In this presentation, we will report the results of investigating the Pt-carrying state of g-C3N4 and its derivatives and composite electrodes carrying Pt on various nanocarbon composite materials and the catalytic activity for methanol oxidation.
