Fuel cells, which have recently attracted attention as clean and highly efficient chemical-electrical energy conversion devices, operate under high temperatures and in the presence of hydrogen as fuels, oxygen in the air, and water as a product. Therefore, the conduction evaluation of their solid electrolytes and electrode materials is performed in an environment with controlled temperature and ambient gases. We report on the proton dynamic behavior of proton-conducting solid electrolytes evaluated by terahertz spectroscopy under controlled ambient gas conditions in the vicinity of the sample.
