The energy distribution of secondary electrons emitted from the surface of a solid by ion beam irradiation is essential in considering the energy transfer of the solid to the electron system. This study reports the film thickness dependence of the secondary electron energy emitted from the self-supporting single-layer and multi-layer graphene films by ion beam irradiation. In the presentation, we will discuss how using single-layer graphene film can reduce the effects of the transport process.
