Based on dual chirped optical parametric amplification (DC-OPA) scheme, a CEP-stable, one-octave bandwidth IR laser pulses are amplified to 1.2 uJ from 1.5 um to 3 um. In the future, by taking advantage of the whole pump energy (770 mJ), the output energy of this broadband IR laser will be expected to 40 mJ with transform-limited pulse duration down to 9.5 fs.
