[22p-P03-1] Observation of Synchronized Limit Cycle Oscillators with Coupled Si Photonic Crystal Cavities

Synchronization of limit cycle is a universal phenomenon. Until now, we have demonstrated experimentally limit cycle oscillation (self-pulsing) in a silicon photonic crystal cavity [1]. On the other hand, we investigate theoretically the synchronization of limit cycle using Si photonic crystal coupled cavities under weak inter-cavity coupling condition [2]. In this work, we confirm experimentally by photon cross-correlation measurement that our coupled cavities show synchronization of limit cycle.
