[22p-P04-11] Hyperbolic Metamaterial as Broadband Absorber

We report the metamaterial thermoelectric conversion that generates electricity under a uniform temperature environment. The metamaterial attached to the thermoelectric device absorbs thermal radiation and generates local heat, resulting in driving thermoelectric generation. In this report, we designed a hyperbolic metamaterial (HMM) which has broad-band absorbance, and examined the thermoelectric power under an uniform temperature environment obtained by the HMM numerically.
