In recent years, the development of a transparent pn junction type solar cell that transmits visible light and absorbs ultraviolet light to generate power is underway. While there are many high-performance transparent n-type semiconductors, there are no definitive transparent p-type semiconductors. In this study, I focused on transparent p-type semiconductors and used CuI and CuCl, which are inexpensive and strategically superior in terms of resources. The purpose is to clarify the physical properties of the CuCl1-XIX thin films for each composition X, with the aim of producing it at low cost by the spin coat method and applying it to transparent coating type solar cells.
