△ [23a-B203-5] Thermoelectric conversion characteristics of carbon nanotube yarn by chlorosulfuric acid treatment
Keywords:thermoelectric conversion, carbon nanotube, doping
We attempted to improve the thermoelectric conversion properties of carbon nanotube (CNT) spun yarn synthesized from vertically aligned CNT arrays by the chemical vapor deposition method by immersing it in chlorosulfonic acid (CSA), a p-type dopant agent, after joule annealing. We also investigated the difference in temperature characteristics of CSA compared to other p-type dopants. The highest power factor of 1920 μW/mK2 was recorded at a temperature of 50°C and an immersion time of 30 seconds in CSA with current heating at 3300 K.
