[23a-C105-3] Enhancement of solid-state TTA-UC by layering dye molecule layers on plasmonic nanointerfaces
Keywords:Large-area plasmonic nano-interface, Solid-state TTA-UC, Nano-Film Structure Control
Triplet-Triplet annihilation upconversion (TTA-UC) is a technology for converting low-energy light into high-energy light, and research on its solid-state device and its performance improvement has attracted much attention. The use of localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) to improve the light absorption efficiency of triplet sensitizers has been reported. However, this method is not suitable for effectively introducing dye molecules near the nanoparticles. In this study, we aim to improve the TTA-UC performance of solid-state TTA-UC systems by controlling the spatial organization of TTA-dye molecules near the nanoparticles. This work will allow us to clarify the correlation between the arrangement of the dye molecules and TTA-UC behavior.
