[23a-C206-4] Coherent phonon dynamics in a strongly correlated system of 1T-TiSe2

We report on the dynamics of coherent phonons in semimetal phase 1T-TiSe2 using a femtosecond pump-probe reflectivity technique. After photoexcitation at room temperature, a phonon mode 3.48 THz , which is characteristic in CDW phase (< 202 K), was observed. Our results suggest the photo-induced phase transition into CDW phase can be found even at room temperature.
