The terahertz reflective metamaterials were introduced for flexible strain sensing. The strain can be measured by observing the reflectance intensity change at constant wavelength. Faster and accurate measurement can be achieved by using the cameras and photodetectors without measuring the optical spectrum. The structure consist of array of Au Dolmen-resonator strutures on flexible substrate made of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS).
