[23p-A202-4] Spin Characterization of NV Ensembles on Ultra High-Concentration Nitrogen-doped CVD Diamonds

NV ensembles in diamond are expected to have applications in magnetic sensing. In this study, highly nitrogen-doped diamond was prepared by CVD processes, and a nitrogen concentration of 8×1020 cm-3 was obtained. In addition, high-density NV ensembles were fabricated by electron irradiation using a transmission electron microscope, and their spin properties were investigated. The fabricated sample yielded an NV center density comparable to that of HPHT diamond, with a T2 of about 0.5 μs. The T2 was about 0.5 μs, which is a very high value considering the density.
