The purpose of this study is to clarify the atomic matching support structure that contributes to battery properties by comparing the encapsulated Ni system and the eutectic Si-Fe system, in which multiple compound phases are atomically matched with Si and has the potential to reduce the consumption of active Si by alloying due to its low formation temperature . The results of this study suggest that the elementary structuring process of how Fe is formed on the Si particles in the molten state to form the interface is inferred. The cycle characteristics of the battery are lower than those of the Ni-doped battery, and the reason for this is also discussed from the viewpoint of the atomically matched interface.
