Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) measures transient impedance that is effective in investigating the carrier dynamics in electronic devices. To clarify the initial carrier dynamics in organic photovoltaics (OPV), we measured the transient impedance by light synchronized TDR that observes the transient impedance in OPV during photoirradiation. In this study, we observed the delay time dependence and the excitation wavelength dependence of the time domain transmission waveforms through an OPV with a structure of Al/PC61BM/Pentacene/ITO under UV and red LED irradiation.
