△ [23p-B103-5] Rigid and coplanar thiazole-containing π-conjugated polymers for nonfullerene-based organic photovoltaics
Keywords:Organic photovoltaic, polymer donor, non-fullerene acceptor
Recently, the power conversion efficiency (PCE) of organic photovoltaics has remarkably improved. Enhancement of intramolecular and/or intermolecular charge transport is a key to the development of high-performance π-conjugated polymers that are used as the donor material. Here, we designed and synthesized new π-conjugated polymers consisting of thiazole and benzodithiophene in the backbone (PBDTTz). PBDTTz had the highly coplanar and rigid backbone and showed relatively high current density and PCE over 14% in nonfullerene-based cells.
