In this study, we introduced flat pump beam to realize efficient injection-seeded terahertz (THz) parametric generator (is-TPG). This enabled us to achieve both sufficient power density and the interaction length of the THz-wave, reducing the required pump beam energy by more than 85% compared to the conventional system. The reduction of the oscillation threshold has also made it possible to construct is-TPG spectroscopic system with pump beam of less than 3 mJ.
