[23p-C202-7] Terahertz Wave Emission from Fe/Pt Spintronic Bilayer with Diabolo and Rectangular Antenna Structures

In this research, we compare THz wave generation and emission performances of unstructured spintronic film composed of 2-nm Fe and 3-nm Pt layer and diabolo and rectangular spintronic antennas with thick Pt layers at the flares using standard terahertz (THz)-time domain spectroscopy (TDS) system. Our measurement results showed strongest emission from the rectangular antenna delivering 4.2x and 1.1x enhancement compared to the unstructured film and the corresponding diabolo antenna, respectively. This enhancement can be attributed to the resonance properties of the rectangular antenna.
