This work presents the foundational digital signal processing techniques used in fiber-based 1.55 micron Coherent Doppler LiDAR. First, a TOF based range retrieval algorithm is presented and characterized with a fabricated device. Next, digital signal processing for the proper velocity retrieval of the Doppler shifted light is summarized and characterized using a turntable to an accuracy of 0.2 m/s.
