脱炭素に向けた取り組みの一つとして、太陽光発電設備の導入が進められている。大規模建築物においては屋根や屋上のみならず、壁面にも設置して発電量を増やすことが検討されている。多くの建築物では給湯や暖房は熱エネルギーも必要であるため、本研究では垂直設置した太陽光（PV）モジュールの集熱特性および発電特性への影響について検討を行った。
