[22a-P03-1] Study on droplet-position detection using surface acoustic wave

Surface acoustic waves (SAW) can be used for droplet transportation. A micro-laboratory for mixing, temperature control, and measurement of multiple droplets can be constructed using SAW devices. It is important to know the position of the droplet for this application. In this paper, we report the results of a study to determine the position of a droplet by using the time response observed when the droplet is on the SAW propagation surface.
