[22a-P04-1] Simulation of polarization color using sunlight as a light source
Keywords:polarizer, polarization color
At Lake Kussharo during the severe winter season, a phenomenon was photographed in which small bubbles gushing out from under the thin ice were colored in various colors. This phenomenon was named "jewelry bubble" by the photographer. This coloring phenomenon is thought to be caused by polarized light colors. In the past, we have conducted experiments indoors in the laboratory, so we have only performed polarized color simulations using a D65 light source. In this study, we perform polarized color simulations using sunlight as the light source in order to handle jewelry bubbles to be observed outdoors.
