Keywords:rectenna, thermal radiation, energy harvesting

In recent years, photoelectric conversion technology using a rectenna, in which light (electromagnetic waves) captured by an antenna is rectified by a diode, has been attracting attention. In this study, we have designed and fabricated an optical rectenna based on a cavity resonator structure, which enables easy control of the response wavelength and stable formation of the tunneling layer. This technology enables power conversion of mid- and far-infrared light, and could be a new environmental power generation method.
