Carrier recombination in TiO2 with localized surface plasmon resonance is measured.In the rutile TiO2, it was confirmed that the gold loading caused a localized surface plasmon resonance effect and absorbed light with energy lower than the band gap.The decay of carriers at the interface between TiO2 and gold is slow. It is thought that a trap was formed.
