[22p-E205-13] Magnetic properties of (Bi,A)(Fe1-xCox)O3 (A = Ca, Sr, Ba) multiferroic thin films and consideration on the origin of their magnetic properties

For the purpose of deveroping for multiferroic thin films with excellent magnetic properties, we investigated Co substitution of Fe sites in (Bi1-xAx)FeO3 (A = Ca,Sr,Ba) thin films. As a result, Co substitution up to 20 % increases saturation magnetization, perpendicular anisotropy, and magnetic Kerr effect, and in (Bi0.6Ba0.4)(Fe0.8Co0.2)O3 thin films, Ms = 95 emu/cm3, Hc⊥/Hc// = 1.1, θk = 0.21° were obtained.
