Keywords:CsI scintillator, thermal neutron

In the neutron flux measurement method using self-activation of a CsI scintillator, thermal neutron fluxes are measured by counting 128 keV conversion electrons from 134mCs produced in the scintillator. However, 134mCs also emits 128 keV γ-rays, which are counted as the same 128 keV peak as conversion electrons when photoelectric effect occurs. In this study, we calculate the ratio of γ-rays emitted by 134mCs which were counted as the 128 keV peak by the photoelectric effect.
