In this presentation, I will talk about the reflections at temporal boundaries, compared with the reflections at the usual spatial boundaries at which physical constants change. Then I’ll explain how to realize the phenomenon of temporal reflection using a wave machine, a wave display instructive instrument used in physics education classrooms. In addition, I will describe anti-reflection by temporal impedance matching, which is caused by adding an appropriate intermediate temporal layer at the boundary.
