[22p-F408-11] A prediction of Young's modulus of phosphate glasses: Applying the rigid unit packing fraction model

〇Tatsuki Shimizu1, Akira Saitoh1 (1.Ehime Univ.)

Keywords:phosphate glass, Young's modulus, structure

Predictions for Young’s modulus of phosphate glasses have been carried out by using parameters of the ion packing ratio and dissociation energy in both the Makishima-Mackenzie (MM) model, and rigid unit packing fraction (RUPF) method and structural details that contain short- and intermediate structural information by X-ray diffraction and NMR spectroscopies.
