We performed single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) growth on stainless steel foils using an Ir catalyst on alumina buffer layer which were prepared by wet process. By chemical vapor deposition (CVD) using ethanol feedstock, we suceeded in growth of small-diameter SWCNTs on stainless steal foils.
