[23a-E105-2] Study on the Shape of Polymer Microneedles

In this study, the needle shape was molded with a tapered tip in order to reduce the load during the penetration of polymeric microneedles. In order to clarify the relationship between the needle diameter and the load at the time of penetration, the skin penetration of the needles was evaluated using numerical analysis and actual penetration tests of the molded microneedles.
