[23a-E201-3] Material design and three-dimensional dynamics of magnetic skyrmions

Magnetic skyrmion, i.e., a topologically stable swirling spin configuration, has recently attracted attention as a particle-like object potentially suitable for the design of high-density information bits. In this talk, I overview the material design strategies to realize nano-metric magnetic skyrmions, and introduce the novel experimental techniques to study their three-dimensional structure and dynamics.
