[23a-E205-1] Phase field analysis of mesoscale magnetic domains with arbitrary free surface

We suggested the 3D magnetic domain stucture simulation method using multi phase field model in order to predict mesoscale magnetic domain structures in bulk of soft magnetic materials. In this investigation, the method was applied to the evaluation of magnetic domain structures in the system which had arbitrary surface. The simulation in which bulk of soft magnetic material had cylindrical holes showed that spike-like magnetic domains which magnetization was perpendicular to initial magnetic domains appeared around cylindrical holes. This result was consistent with spike domains observed in actual magnetic materials.
