Keywords:Plasmon, resonance wavelength, fluorescence microscope

In our laboratory, the enhanced fluorescence has been investigated with a plasmonic chip in which a wavelength-sized of light periodic pattern is coated with a thin metal film. Recently, in fluorescence images under the transmitted light, significant fluorescence enhancement was observed at the center with the Bull's eye pattern. In this study, a resonance wavelength shifted depending on the SiO2 layer with thickness coated on Ag layer of a plasmonic chip. The relationship between the resonance wavelength and the significant fluorescence enhancement at the center (= nano-antenna effect) was investigated by using an upright-inverted fluorescence microscope.
