[23a-E304-2] Numerical Correction of Spherical Aberration of Time-Resolved Complex-Field Images of Ultrashort Pulsed Laser Processing

We have developed a time-resolved digital holography system with an interferometer suitable for time-resolved complex-field imaging of ablation dynamics with a single pump pulse. However, the previous system suffered from spherical aberration that prevented accurate measurements of fine structures close to the diffraction limit due to diffraction patterns. This study reports that the aberration can be corrected by numerical calculation of wave propagation using the angular spectrum method.
