[23p-D113-1] [INVITED] Recent Progresses in Acoustic Metamaterials and Topological Phononics

Recent research trends on an artificial material "Acoustic Metamaterial" which shows unique acoustic-wave and elastic-wave responses, and some examples of our efforts on the topic will be reviewed. Novel features found in topological phononics/mechanics, which gains much attention rapidly, and our recent results on valley-type topological acoustic/elastic waveguides designed by band calculation of phononic crystals will also be presented.
