[23p-D315-9] Chirp Pulse Digital Holography for Observing the Propagation of Ultrafast Pulses

In this study, we demonstrated the single-shot chirped pulse digital holography for measuring the propagation of ultrashort pulses in liquid. In experiment, we measured the phase images of an intense 130 fs optical pulse propagated in water and carbon disulfide using two object pulses with the time separation of 0.67 ps. From these phase images, the variations of index of refraction and the densities of electrons generated by plasma were measured.
