[23p-E103-4] Prediction of the behavior of solvated electrons in plasma-liquid interactions

〇Fumiyoshi Tochikubo1 (1.Tokyo Metropolitan Univ.)

Keywords:solvated electron, discharge plasma, plasma simulation

Solvated electrons are stabilized by the coordination of solvent molecules around the electrons, and are known as a chemical species with high reducing power. When a liquid is irradiated with a high-energy electron beam, solvated electrons are produced through collisional reactions such as ionization along the electron path. When electrons are injected into a liquid from a discharge plasma, the elementary processes are considered to be similar, although the electron energy is different. In this presentation, the behavior of solvated electrons from discharge plasmas will be discussed based on numerical results.
