Plasma-active solutions synthesized by plasma irradiation have been shown to selectively kill various types of cancer in cell and animal experiments. Based on the measurements of the interaction between the particles generated by the plasma source and the solution, approaches to plasma medicine by analyzing the mechanisms of intracellular signaling, genes, metabolism, and immunity caused by bioactive substances in the active solution are introduced.
