In recent years, topological photonics, which exploits the topological properties of systems and band structures, has become active. In this presentation, I present experimental observations of optical topological edge states in two types of plasmonic structures. The topological plasmonic systems are expected to be developed into a new platform to increase the light-matter interaction with two-dimensional materials, which also have topological properties, due to the confinement effect of strong electric field.
