Li-ion (de)intercalation in transition-metal oxides can be a tool to control a large number of carriers in strongly correlated materials. However, inhomogeneous reactivity and lack of crystallinity have been problems. In various systems, we are working on the realization of homogeneous carrier doping and the elucidation of the intrinsic properties by Li-ion (de)intercalation in epitaxial thin films and in-situ measurements. In this presentation, we will review the results of the electronic state modulation so far.
