Compared to the natural diamond, synthetic diamond has been widely used in all kinds of industrial applications, due to its high purity and low crystal defects. Furthermore, by doping different kinds of elements, it is possible to endow certain electrical and magnetic properties, which is expected to be applied in various fields such as sensing and measurement. By using our unique high pressure and high temperature method, we have succeeded in producing the world's highest level high-purity, low-defect diamond. Furthermore, highly sensitive sensor with NV-center was created by electron beam processing and ion implantation in cooperation with Nissin Electric Co., Ltd. This paper introduces high quality diamond synthesized for NV sensor, and its further applicability.
