A spectroscopy mechanism based on the randomness of photonic crystals is used for multi-wavelength analysis in the communication wavelength band. In the chirped structure of the photonic crystal line defect waveguide, wavelength-dependent localization of light occurs due to manufacturing errors. The leaked light was captured and analyzed using an optimization algorithm. Because of the small size and high resolution of this spectrometer, it can be integrated and used in optical communications.
