In the measurement of Ultrafine Bubbles (UFB), it has been proposed to estimate the number of UFB particles from the decrease in the number of particles due to ultrasonic defoaming as a method to distinguish UFB from contaminants. However, the conventional measurement method using laser light scattering is difficult to measure extremely small UFB with diameters of 60 nm or less. In this study, we used High-speed Atomic Force Microscope to evaluate the defoaming effect of ultrasonic irradiation on UFB with diameters of 60 nm or less, which has been difficult to measure in the past.
