In previous study, a polarization rotation and splitting device was proposed with a taper waveguide coupled with a single-mode waveguide, which emits TE mode outputs from separate waveguide depending on TE and TM inputs. In this paper, we introduce a combiner to this polarization rotation and splitting device for a single waveguide output to make it to be a useful device as a TE mode-output polarization controller from arbitrary polarization.
